Walking Improvements

Ever since taking his first steps, our little man has been walking between small gaps in the furniture and between Mummy and Daddy, diving forward as he got closer to his destination.

A week before he turned 10 months, he started to walk out into space on his own. He would only make it maybe 5-6 steps but it was so exciting to watch.

Library Fun

Our little man loves exploring the library. He loves crawling/walking around.

We play a game with the puzzles where he takes the pieces out and gives them to me when I say “ta mummy” and then I put them back in for him.

He also just likes taking the pieces out.

He loves this bead table. His fine motor skills are improving and he is now able to grab the beads with a pincer grip and moves them along the wires.

Pointing

Just before our little man turned 10 months old, he learnt how to point. He started pointing at everything he wants. It’s so cute when we’re carrying him and he just keeps pointing at things to make us go where he wants. He gets the cutest grin of satisfaction when he gets to what he points at.

When he gets excited, he also points at us with both hands hehe.

Play Center Fun

Our little man loves exploring play centers. We took our little man into the toddler area this time because he was a bit bored in the baby area. He loved climbing the little playground area and going down the slide (with help).

Alfie’s First Haircut

image

At 9.5 months, our little man’s hair had started to grow over his ears and was getting close to his eyes so we decided to get him his first haircut. We went to a place called Kidz Kutz. They have high chairs and kidz chairs and screens for them to watch TV shows on.

Our little man did really well. He stood up in the high chair a little bit but sat for most of the time.

This is the after and before shots 🙂

He looked so cute in his little cape.
