Our little man scraped his big toe on his car walker somehow. It was bleeding a fair bit so I put his first bandaid on.

Unfortunately he ripped it off within 10 seconds flat haha

Uncle Trent came over with our little man’s big Christmas present (a slide) and for a play. Alfie had lots of fun.

And had a big nap once he left 🙂

We went to visit Alfie’s cousins one morning and they were having breakfast. Our little man spent the whole time stealing his cousins peanut butter sandwich lol

In an attempt to wean our little man, we decided to give him some formula to see how he goes. It didn’t end well lol

He fought the bottle the whole time (we tried lots of different types) and he didn’t like the formula. His tummy got really upset too.

So we’re staying with the boob for now.

Randomly, one night our little man crawled into one of our storage boxes and proceeded to crawl around with his legs and body still in it.

We are in a stage where our little man will only fall asleep while Breast feeding or in the car. Unfortunately this means he falls asleep at inopportune times. This picture is when I was trying to keep him awake by feeding him baby biscuits.

Unfortunately it didn’t work hehe

At 8.5 months our little man was still hating the car and screaming on most drives so we put his favourite show (Hey Duggee) on a tablet and put it in his old mirror case for him to watch. This worked so well and he is now happy in the car. I never thought I would be one of those parents with screens in the car but you can’t argue with the results 🙂 it was nice to be able to join Daddy in the front when we go places together instead of having to sit in the back 🙂

We had a picnic at the park with our mothers group and there was birds every where! Luckily our little man isn’t scared of birds like his Mummy.  Although I did feel quite uneasy as he kept crawling towards the birds. He was very intrigued by them.

In an attempt to get more active, Mummy and Daddy decided to start going to free fitness sessions. We both went to the first one and Alfie sat on the side watching us and playing.  He did really well and we had a good time but unfortunately at the end, we were told that we couldn’t bring Alfie as kids under 10 can’t observe. We didn’t go back after this.
