Our little man figured out how to climb his rocker chair. He stands up on it and then bunny hops it towards the couch to try and climb onto it.

The problem was that it took him a couple of weeks to get the arm strength to crawl back out of it and bumped his head many times.

In the morning we walked down to our local park where they had a free breakfast and live music.

Then we headed off to BaaBaa and JiiJii’s for their annual Australia Day party (without shots for us this year). Alfie got to play with Aunty Chelsea’s friends son for a little while and lapped up the attention from everyone.

At just over 8 months, our little dude caught his first ball.  We had him sitting in his chair and used a big, green, nobbly ball. We bounced it to him so it would land in his lap and then he would use his hands and feet to catch it. Then he would let it go to give it back. He did this over and over again. 🙂

We went on a double date with Daddy’s friend Simon and his fiancee and baby Riley. We had lunch and then played mini golf. Alfie slept through the first half of mini golf and then chilled in his pram until the second last hole when he wanted out.

He did so well considering it was really hot!

Now that our lithe man has some teeth, he’s decided he’s just going to eat pear all by himself hehe.

Our little man did a big poo while eating his dinner in his chair, which leaked out a lot. Then Daddy tried to change him on the mat but he kept rolling and moving away lol.

We went to sushi Train with our little man and the people working there loved interacting with him. The chef was trying to give him an avocado lol

Since we put up the baby gate in the laundry, this is the view I get as I’m on the toilet hehe. It is better than having him at my feet, even though he still makes the same noises trying to get to me.
