Our little man loved sitting in the trolley like a big boy. Unfortunately he gets bored quickly because he wants to move. He still prefers to be worn in the ergo 🙂

For the first few weeks of Daddy’s holidays, he had the magic touch getting our little man to sleep for his day naps. I had been struggling for a couple of weeks to get our little man to fall asleep in my arms or in the swing like he used to. Unfortunately it didn’t last the whole holidays but it was really nice for Daddy to get some sleepy cuddles in 🙂

Mummy made an advent calendar filled with activities and cooking to do with our little man. Here’s some of the things we made 🙂

Here’s our little man with most of his presents. He was soo spoilt 🙂 He also got a swing and blow up pool from Mummy and Daddy and a slide from his Uncle Trent 🙂

We had a really nice first Christmas lunch with our little man. He had a nap on the way to BaaBaa and JiiJii’s house so was happy to open presents as soon as we got there. He was soo spoilt by his family.

Alfie started getting tired just before lunch was ready so I put him in the ergo and he fell asleep. We couldn’t get the portacot to work, so Alfie got to sleep on his new couch from BaaBaa and JiiJii while we had our lunch. He woke up a little while after lunch (from his uncle putting a gingerbread bra on him – which he still denies) and had fun exploring the house with all the presents and wrapping paper.

Our little man woke up bright and early on Christmas morning at 4 am but I managed to feed him back to sleep. Daddy and Mummy decided that that was a good time for them to open their own presents before our little man woke up for good. We had fun opening each others presents and even got each other the same present (Bocce).

We were a bit excited to get our little man up so as soon as we heard him stir, we went running in and got him (I suspect he wasn’t quite ready to wake up but we couldn’t wait hehe) He opened his presents (with our help) and then we had breakfast together. We had ham and cheese croissants and Alfie had rice cereal.

We had Grandad and Aunty Kira’s family over for Christmas eve. We had a great time playing games, eating yummy food and opening presents. 🙂
