This is the first time we put product in our little man’s hair. He looks so grown up and handsome 🙂

On the move
Now that our little man can sit himself up, he is even more mobile. He rolls and sits and rolls and sits until he gets where he wants to go. One time when I was in the kitchen, I looked over to see him sucking his high chair leg. He’s a strange specimen hehe
But super duper cute!
He is really starting to try to pull himself forwards now too. With his head up instead of mushing his face across the floor while he kicks his legs….
December Boxes
We are starting a new tradition for our little mans first Christmas this year…..December boxes. On the first of December each year, we will give each other a December box filled with Xmas goodies.
Our little man got some books, a bowl, some xmas Pjs, a Teddy saying “Alfie’s First Christmas” and an advent calendar that I have filled with Christmas crafts/baking for each day.
Alfie especially loved his Teddy. His face lit up when he saw it 🙂
Experimenting with Chunks
I Can Sit Myself
At 6.5 months, completely out of the blue, our little man sat himself up. We were so excited and so was he. He is so much happier now he can sit himself up when ever he wants.
The only problem now is that he constantly sits up in his cot lol. It’s so weird looking at the camera monitor and setting him sitting there.
Chunky
At around 6.5 months, our little man starting getting grumpy while we were feeding him. I was getting worried because I thought he might be going off solids. After a few days of this, I had a brainwave and gave him some chunks of banana instead of puree and he was much happier 🙂 so it turned out he had just decided he was too old for purees. Our big boy is so Mr independent.
Basket Boy
Sorry Dude.
Baby’s First Christmas Party
We took our little man to his first Christmas party run by Baby Sensory. We all had a great time. There was a session first were all the mums and dads sat in a circle with their babies and sang songs, danced, bounced and looked at fun things.
After the session, we had a chance to have some free play with the set up equipment.
It was a 0-6 month baby group and Alfie was the only one sitting. He had a great time looking at all the people and bouncing on his bum.
It was a really fun activity to do all together to share some quality family time. 🙂
