Just before our little man turned 11 months, he started dancing. He started with this cute little bop up and down to anything with a thick beat, then he added a little spin into his repertoire for a song on one of his toys. Within a week or so he was dancing to all music, even tapping on a table could make him bop 🙂

As our little man’s first birthday approaches, we realized we needed to sort out his party. The most important thing was getting the invitations out. 

We had the date sorted,  we just needed to figure out the venue. We were originally planning on having it at the park down the road from our house but we were a bit worried about it raining. We ended up hiring a room at our local community  center.

Daddy designed the card and Mummy cut them out and stuck them on a backing card.

Now that our little man is walking all the time, we have invested in some shoes for him. I now put shoes on him every time we go out.  He adjusted really well and they didn’t phase him at all.

This is our little man with his bff (or girlfriend) playing in the dirt at the park.  They are so cute together and always lead each other astray. We call them double trouble 🙂

So I was cleaning up Alfie’s high chair so that I could put him in it for his breakfast when I looked down to see that he had snatched the banana I was going to feed him off of the table. I then realized that he had eaten both ends of the banana including the skin lol.

He must have been a tad hungry.

This is the first time our little guy had a go at spoon feeding himself. He was feeding himself porridge and did really well. I was loading up the spoon and putting it on his tray.  Then he would pick it up and get most of it into his mouth. Obviously it is very messy work lol
