Visiting the Cousins

image

Our little man came for a visit to see his cousins 🙂 Ajay was very interested in Alfie and spent the whole time trying to touch him or steal the string from his pants.

Scarla had a fun time playing with Alfie too.

Lashana gave Mummy a new hair style 🙂

Go Dockers!

Even though we don’t really watch AFL very much, I couldn’t resist dressing our little man up in a Dockers outfit to celebrate them making it to the Semi Finals.

Unfortunately they didn’t make it to the Grand Final, lucky I dressed him up when I did. 🙂

Walker

Since our little man loves standing and being upright, we decided to buy him a walker to help him. He absolutely loves it but can only go backwards at the moment. He smooshes his face and hands into the steering wheel which makes a “toot toot” sound or plays music.

Check out the photos Daddy made 🙂

Lunch in Hillaries

We went to lunch with BaaBaa, JiiJii and Aunty Chels after visiting the doctors. We went to Grilld in Hillaries.

Alfie slept through some of the lunch and then had a look around and some food himself. 🙂

He started crying just as we were making our way to the car so we gave him some baby panadol and he was okay.

Immunisations

Poor Alfie had his 4 month immunisations when he was exactly 4 months old. He dealt with it better than last time. He screamed at the time of the needles but was able to calm down with a cuddle from Mummy. He also drank the Rotavirus drink easily.

He was quite off for a week after the vaccines. He pooed 6 times the day after and seemed to have an upset tummy for the week after.

Cutest Outfit

I love this picture! I love his outfit and his pose. I put this picture on Facebook and everyone was so surprised that our little man was standing all by himself. Obviously he is leaning on the couch behind him but he is soo strong and loves standing all day long.

Starting with a Spoon

We went to an information session about starting solids at Ngala. It was interesting and said not to start solids until 6 months. Alfie is already showing signs of being ready for solids (watching us eat, reaching out for food and no tongue thrust reflex) but we are going to wait as close as we can to 6 months.

After attending the session, I went straight to the shops and I bought some sippy cups, spoons and rusk sticks.

I started giving him his Infants Friend on a spoon and he gobbled it up straight away. I am so excited to start giving him food 🙂

First Trip to the City

At 16 weeks, we took our little man on his first trip to the city. We went to the Fitness and Health Expo. It was a fun day out.

Daddy held Alfie in the ergo for most of the day and he was very well behaved.

We got to meet Michelle Bridges (Alfie’s first celebrity meeting) and I breastfed our little man while we watched the Commando run a boot camp.
